The rail does what it is designed to do, and for the price it's not bad. However the finish on this Chinese import is a little lacking. There are some rough edges and small gouges in the metal around the edges. Fortunately all contact surfaces are finished properly. If you don't mind a riser that has a few warts but works perfectly then buy this. My preference for the future will be to try to find an American made riser mount that has a better finish even if I have to pay twice as much.
