This is my second pair of these shoes. I bought a pair three years ago for work. I wear them every day and they are beginning to wear out. After three years that is ok. I work in HVAC so I am up on roofs, under houses, dragging through bushes, etc. all the time. I did put water sealer on them when I got them. Fell through a crawl hole once and hung by one for a bit. It did no damage to the shoe. I am paying about 50 percent more than what I payed the first time but feel the shoe is worth it. I am a big guy and have lots of trouble with my feet if the shoes are not well made. These are the best I've had.
