BARSKA 1x30 IR M-16 Electro Sight Riflescope Buy Now

I own three of them. Bought one from Midway for my GSG-5. Wanted something that looked like a mini-ACOG, but doesn't cost more than the rifle.
Out of the box, build quality looked good, felt solid. The mounting bolts didn't look like hardened steel, so I only had them finger tight. After zeroing it in, it's held zero after 500+ rounds of .22LR. Mount hasn't loosened. This unit rates 5 stars.
Based on that, I bought two more from Amazon. Mounted one on a Ruger PC-4 -- it's a .40S&W carbine (discontinued). Took it to the range today. Again, it zero'ed easily. But after shooting 35 rounds of pistol caliber ammo, the scope flew (no, it didn't fall) off the gun. The scope seperated from the base. Took the base off and tried to reattach it to the scope. The bad news is the scope body is made from cheap metal and the screw holes were stripped. The good news is the scope and red dot still works after dropping 5 feet on concrete. This one gets 1 star for costing me $73.
Was going to use the other Barska on a .223 - NOT. I'll keep it for a future .22LR or Airsoft. No way the Barska will hold up to anything like a .308 or shottie. Get more detail about BARSKA 1x30 IR M-16 Electro Sight Riflescope.
