This product comes as shown and taking it apart the first time is not intuitive. Ok, maybe I should have looked at the instructions, but I'm a guy! Oh, and there aren't any instructions! Once you get it taken apart and put back together in proper form for use, it works just like the standard model. If you're looking for equipment to take along for exercise in hotel rooms, this works well. It's light, compact and allows pushups without the wrist stress of standard hands-on-the floor pushups. Add some ab work and you've got a reasonable minimalist exercise system. The travel bag is a nice addition. Over all,it's just what was looking for.
