Probably one of the best hunting toys I've had ever. I used the Astro 220 on my old deer hound. I could see the direction she was heading and was able to pick her up a couple of miles away crossing the road. This happened several times and considering the time and worry I saved was grateful to have purchased it. I made maps of the hunting area with the GPS and downloaded where the dog traveled that day. The main downside is after turning the dog loose you are locked into retrieving the dog within 17hrs. Using this collar in conjunction with another collar with longer distance and longer battery life may be the way to go.
