It's clearly made from the most inexpensive materials, but it is engineered well enough to handle a big guy (230 lb) and extra weight. It's easily assembled, but not easily disassembled. You can take the back post off and fit it into the back seat of a smaller mid-size, but probably not a compact because the center post is lock-nutted on.
