I bought this model because I knew I would not use one if I had to use a chest strap with it. When I got it I thought it was defective because it only has one silver button (below the display). I guess this is just the newer model and only requires one finger to get a reading. It always gives me a reading within 2-3 seconds. I use it during my p90x workouts so there is usually a short interval between sets when I can press the button. I have even pressed it while doing some cardio and I am still able to get a reading within a couple of seconds.
It seems to be pretty accurate as I have tested it against a manual reading with a stop watch. It does look a little better in the picture as the white around the edges in person is kind of ugly. But it does seem durable and reliable so I am happy with it. I will probably try to figure out the calorie counter and pedometer this week. If it wasn't for the white around the sides I would have rated it a five. If you're looking for a reliable strapless monitor, this is a good one for 50 bucks.Get more detail about Reebok Regular Fitwatch Plus Strapless Heart Rate Monitor and Pedometer with Calorie Counter.
